I had the privilege of seeing this beautiful man live at Golden Plains but a few weeks ago. I am ashamed to say I had not heard him prior to this, but be assured gentle listeners that I have made up for lost time.
Dave Hause:
Lead singer of Philadelphia punk rockers 'The Loved Ones' is my favourite acoustic punk
rock songbird of the moment. I saw him support Hot Water Music back in December and fell in love with him and his beautiful soul/music/neck tattoos. Sigh, neck tattoos. New album just release in February 'Resolutions' is a fantasticly honest americana record that is meant to be played whilst driving/dreaming/changing. Hopefully not all at the same time.
The Fest:
I am potentially going. With my potential monies. And it will be wondrous in all its dorky punk rock glory. This plan has a lot of potential. (what a weird word huh?)
Boogie:
Get your tickets now. I am going to this, starting to live the dream. Look out for a banner that says 'Rocksteo'... with the possible byline of 'Crack my bitch up', 'Friday i'm in pain... but we've got the cure' or 'ow-chestra'. Many, many unfunny alternatives available.
